Scholarships

Congratulations to the 2023 recipients of the Colombo Lodge Scholarships!

Eligibility

To apply for a 2024 scholarship, graduating students must meet the following criteria:
1. Must be of Italian origin/ancestry, descent on either parent's side, or both. This
information must be provided in the application package with the necessary evidence
and explanation.

2. Must complete a minimum 300 word essay outlining their achievements and
accomplishments (academics, athletics, visual and performing arts, and/or in areas of
school and community service and citizenship).

3. Must provide an up-to-date transcript of marks including Semester 2 mid-term marks.

4. Must provide a minimum of two letters of reference: at least one from the school (i.e.
teacher, administrator, counsellor or coach) and at least one as a character reference
from a community member.
 

Application Submission

1. Students must submit their application package (application information page 2 of this
form, evidence of Italian heritage, essay, school marks/transcript, and letters of reference) by
May 15 of the current school year to the President of the Colombo Lodge.

2. Completed applications may be submitted via email to colombo@telus.net with the subject “Scholarship Application”.
